Make Up Your Own Way to Get N. Oxide

Think basic. Simple tops only.

Back on topic, here is another method to get Oxide(the guy on my avy)

1:Get all N.Oxide time relics and visit him for the final challenge
2:When you come to the second lap, pause the race
3:Hold L1+R1 and press X,Left,Up,Circle,Up.
4:Look on your map. There is no Oxide.
5:When you finish the race, you will see your character block in first place, and Oxide's is blank.
6:You hear Oxide's quote from before you enter the boss garage.
7:When you reach the victory square, Oxide is a glitched block.
8:Oxide's in your character menu!!!

Sounds a bit like Missingno. The glitch block part especially.

You could say that. The one with N. in it sounds like it too.

No, I mean the method I created which contained the blank character block named "N." It's on page one.

1) Drive to N.Oxide's boss garage.
2) Engage in the battle.
3) When the epilogue begins, wait for Oxide's description.
4) Press Start, and cancel the epilogue.
5) You and Oxide are at the victory square.
6) Hold L1+R1 and press X, Down, Circle, Triangle, Down, Up, Left.
7) Almost immediately Oxide will turn into a giant wumpa fruit(lol)
8) Press the X button as you normally would.
9) The game is slightly glitched. You are in The Lost Ruins, but when you enter a tunnel it shows your character entering Oxide's boss garage.
10) After the loading, you are in Papu Pyramid with Oxide. The caption reads, "Papu Papu's Final Challenge".
11) Quit the race, and check your character menu for a surprise.

Interesting. I see you dragged in Papu Papu.

ON the Title screen type
O,X,up,Square,Triangle (OXIDE)

Then Complete all of his ghosts and face Oxide on his track and afterwards It will say Oxide has been Unlocked

Maybe where you put in pass words like UNDERWEAR you put NOSS as it stands for nitrous oxide....

That sounds plausible. Perhaps I should try that the next time I play CTR. But I'm wondering if UNDERWEAR isn't the code for the Scrapbook, perhaps there are different letter combinations that form a more sensible word.

I keep trying, but, realy, I'd be moe interested in unlocking the Spring.

I'd rather have Oxide. The spring piques my interest more, but I'd rather have a character than an item.

I'd rather have the item than Oxide, but that's just because the Spring's a more recent discovery.
