Unfortunately, it has now been sold to another company that didn't understand the concept of Crash Bandicoot.

Yeah, they sold it to Eurocom, I think. They made Crash Bash. They've still got a lot to learn about these games, though.

Well sorta. For Crash Bandicoot 5 it was developed by TT. They weren't the only ones remember. Eurocom Entertainment also had a fair share.

I believe the chain went like this: Naughty Dog, Eurocom Entertainment, Traveller's Tales, Radical Entertainment. Actually, I think TT did fairly well with ''Wrath of Cortex''.

Back to the main topic... Maybe a CTR 2 would have had more racers... Like the ones mentioned in the 'Favorite Character' topic.

Or a "Create Character" option.

I know it's off topic again, but I liked the fact that in Wrath of Cortex that you weren't allowed to get the Gem and Relic at the same time cause it would've been to easy.

I did something like that in Cb3, where I got the Crystal, a gem, and the box gem all in one go. That's why it took me 3 days to get all the percentage. It's too easy when you have it all on a silver platter. The platter needs to have some scratches on it.

Well other than that, sometimes I wonder if a Relic in a CTR2 if it ever came to a follow through of this game was that it could be obtained by your lap time or something.

Kenny - Are you saying that, if you attain a time in the Trophy-racing mode which is greater than the set Relic time for that course, you'd get the Relic right there? Not a bad idea, but it would make the number of times for each level to be visited smaller, and thus make the game quicker to finish.

Digdug - A customization feature might've earned CTR a couple of new fans. Sort of like what's done in our 'Create a character' thread, right? Once again, not a bad idea.

And now, a suggestion of my own; what if CTR 2 had an alternate world, such as the planet Gasmoxia, to extend the gameplay and avoid quick boredom?

Not bad or some retro levels like the ones in CB-CB3?

This isn't quite on-topic, and I appologize, but what would you think about a Super Crash Brothers Melee? Like Nintendo's SSBM?

Awesome idea. We could have Crash, Cortex, Coco, Pura, Polar, Tawna, Dingodile, Papu Papu, Ripper Roo, Koala Kong, N. Brio, N. Gin, Komodo Joe, Komodo Moe, Tiny, Oxide, Pinstripe, and N. Tropy duke it out for the winning title.

Suggestion - When you choose a character, this character's team has a set base level. For example, the good guys would have N. Sanity Beach, whereas the bad guys would have Dr. Cortex's lab (imaginary).

Yeah. Like the boss's garages (only they're actual garages).

Yeah and maybe adding about other modifications to it, you can set up the car to suite the track or maybe again the qualifying lap.
