ok, its been a while since i've played, but you need to find out form the fortune teller in Queens where to find that moon orb, just go talk to the moon people and they will tell you that you cant go to the moon without it to power the moon ship or what ever it be. if you have anymore questions, just ask

The ship to the moon is on the last floor of the King's temple next to Maska Raska.
