Really. I played it when my friend brough his PS2 over, and he was stuck on the second boss. It was my first time playing DMC, so I gave it a whirl, and I got a little better than he did. It was crazy.
Anyone else having trouble with Son of Sparda mode? I'm on level 14, and only tried it once, but the mode's a pain in the ***. There's a ton of Blitz's, and I really don't want to fight that many.

There are two blitz's. For blitz's take down their current with cyote then use real impact, after that DT then use a real impact but as you know them in the air turn off DT to cause more damage after that one hit and they're beaten and you will get at least an S rating.

I think Son Of Sparda is pretty easy to do the only difficulty I find challenging is Dante Must Die.

Actually, DMD (Dante must Die = Devil May Die = Devil May Cry?) is one of the hardest. The actual hardest is Hell or Hell mode. In this mode, you die in one hit, and all your foes have normal health. Pure insanity. I haven't unlocked it yet, but it sounds crazy.

Yeah I never tried that but really DMD is the hardest mode, the other two modes heaven or hell and hell or hell are just special modes.

Still, H or H seems like it would be nearly impossible. For a mega pro who had 3 gold skulls on every level, possible.
Just beat level 16 on Son of Sparda. 17 shouldn't be TOO hard, but that bug freak at the end will be a tad bit annoying. 18 will be a bit of a challenge though. 19 will be cake, you can rig the dice game, and 20 will be meh.
