Dante or Nero?

I never use auto I prefer doing it myself.

You can use Trickster style and Dash forward at the peak of the jump or DT and you can jump three times in a row.

It leaves you vunrable to attack while using it though.

Auto is pretty handy for me. I guess it just depends on who's using it.

Depends on the attack, and range with Pandora. The only reason you'd use it at close range is if you're surrounded and have a good amount of your disastar gauge filled, and then use PF666: Omen, or, you might use PF262: Jelousy at a fairly close range.

I do use the laser attack if there is a large group of enemies together I never use omen unless I know the enemy won't attack since it takes so long to do.

It takes one to two seconds. Not too long. Revenge is really good for the scarecrows and Chimera Seeds. Especialy on the bloody palace levels with Chimera seeds, one shot from revenge will take out a line of seeds.

Yeah I use it a lot for that and Dante's drive move with Rebellion.

Those things are annoying when they get into the scarecrows...

Nero makes it look cooler as he beats up the enemies too. Yamato Devil Bringer is sweet.

I find the chimera infected assaults more annoying than the scarecrows.

Yeah it's good but I would have prefered if he used Yamato the whole time in DT mode instead of that spirit.

If he actually used Yamato, he might have redeemed himself.

His DT would have been a lot better.

I don't know what the actual Yamato was. Never really finished DMC3. The spirit Nero gets does look pretty damn sweet though.

Both Yamato and Rebellion belonged to Dante's and his twin brother Vergil's father Sparda, Rebellion was given to Dante and Yamato was given to Vergil.

I would've looked at Rebellion, then at Yamato, then ask to trade.

Does Rebellion actually even have any powers? If not, Yamato would be quite superior.

I would too they are both good but I like Yamato better.

They both contain demonic powers you see this with some of Dante's attacks such as the drive attack.

I don't see it. Seems like a normal sword to me. Except that its in the hands of a demon.

The red power you see when he does certain attacks.

Huh. I figured that was his own power.

That's the swords power just like the power that Yamato has.

Are you kidding? DMC4 completely nerfed Yamato. Dante's Dark Slayer style is basically him using Yamato, and it's nothing compared to how good it was in DMC3.

And the Yamato Spirit (or whatever the official name of it is) is actually more useful than Dante's DT at times. It increases the number of hits, not just damage (particularly useful against Sanctus and DT'd enemies) and it enhances his Buster moves no end. It's also a lot better for building up style, whereas spamming Stinger while Dante's DT'd won't get you up too high.

Auto sucks. Good human players can always get better results, and besides, what's the point? Spam the attack button until everything's dead? There's no fun in it.

That's what I'm saying Dante should have more moves with it in the Dark Slayer style and I still think it would be better if Nero actually used it in his DT. The only move they made more powerful in Dante's DT was the Stinger move they should have improved his too.
