After a few hours of playing, this is my biggest disappointment that I have had to face in the last few years. The first impression is really promising and the game is addictive for the first 30 minutes, but then it gets worse. Doom Eternal is just a bizarre combination of Fortnite, Portal, and parkour with Dying Light. Seriously, there are too many logical elements in the game, and to move on, the creators force us to jump on the rails, use double jump and dasha to grab the wall like some Spider Man. Yes, such elements in games are needed, but not for a bright angel in Doom where killing is the most important! But it's not the only thing that contributes to frustration, ooh no. Perhaps the worst thing ID Software did was to cut the ammo count down to literally one and a half mags. You just can't enjoy killing because after 20 seconds of chaos on the screen you are forced to run away in pursuit of ammunition.
