broly is the legendary super saiyan because he had a power level of 10,00 and could go super sayain quickly and he was a myth

goku(kakarot) is the legend of a super saiyan which is basically turning super saiyan and was told because of his father bardock went super saiyan against chilled, chilled then told his men to tell his relatives to watch out for the breed of man with tails and glowing yellow hair wich made him the legend
