at a website that me and sman go to,there was a topic that supposingly was started by "donny clay" and he answered that only the wii version will have mini-games.

If thats true thats a rip-off they should have it on all platforms.

A very fair point, in cases like this it's not really that they shouldn't be put in since it won't affect the gameplay in anyway, its just an extra.

I bet one mini-game would be cell hunting down 17 & 18, lol, mini-games would be a good adition, but the common modes will be like, practice, dueling, world martial arts tournament, options, that sorta stuff.

when you put it that way mini-games do sound fun for a dbz game.

Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 2 (also known as Dragon Ball Z: Sparking Neo in Japan) is an upcoming fighting game to be released on PlayStation 2 and Wii. It is the sequel to Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi. Additional movie characters Turles, Lord Slug, Android 13 (in both forms), Tapion, and Hildegarn have been seen so far. At E3, it was said other characters such as Pikkon and Garlic Jr. will be in the game, though no physical evidence has been given for some of the characters. There are to be over 130 characters in this new fighter/roleplayer game. Recently, in-game transformations have been confirmed, but it is a different way from the Dragon Ball Z: Budokai series of games. This method is to be confirmed soon. From a recent magazine scan, it has been confirmed that fusions can be performed in-battle, but how has not yet been confirmed. The game has 16 massive arenas, 11 taken from other games and expanded from, and 9 game modes. A customizer has been made to change the characters, but in what ways is yet to be confirmed.

A recent article on 1Up.com indicates that the Nintendo Wii version of the game will feature a unique control scheme using the system's remote controller. It was confirmed in Nintendo Power that gamers, using the motion sensing controller, will be able to control their fighters by carrying a remote in each hand and mimicking moves from the series.

GameStop has confirmed that it will allow pre-release shipping will be available for US on October 17, 2006. However, neoseeker sources state that BT2 will be released later on 25 December 2006, making a Christmas release. It is unsure whether neoseeker is a reliable source as they have the Wii version for Budokai Tenkaichi 2 scheduled for a Q4 2007 release. A recent Japanese website known as Club Dragon Ball however, have announced it is scheduled for release in Japan on October 14 this year. Club Dragon Ball also states that all characters ever featured on any Dragon Ball game will be playable characters in the sequel and that battles will now involve up to four characters fighting simultaneously on the battle field. It is not certain that all the characters from Tenkaichi 1 will appear, as not everyone from Budokai 1 appeared in Budokai 2, but it's more than likely because an early scan stated that all characters from Tenkaichi 1 will return.
