Story Mode.

EDIT: This is supposed to be for all versions of the game, not just the Wii.

Basically just a topic to talk about the story mode and what you made of it. Personally I thought it was absolutely crap, by far one of the worst out of the Budokai and Budokai Tenkaichi series, it missed pratically everything out, most of the time it gave no explaination as to what was going on, which isn't as bad if you know the anime and what not but still crap. For example no battles as Gohan during the Buu saga!!!?

Furthermore the cutscenes are crap, well admittly the talking isn't too bad but there is never any action in them, and when there is it cuts too an in-game move which are just too short, I wanted to see Gohan and Cell struggling a bit more when they fire Kamehamehas at each other, which the rest of the Z-fighters trying to attack Cell at the same time, not just 2 seconds of a move.

As you can probably guess I'm not too impressed by it at all.

i dont like it but i like how u have to press R3 (PS) to see the cut-scenes but u dont have to....like i killed cooler with master roshie in his super form and then goku said "what he actually beat him" or something.

i understood wat was going on but they could have made it like no.2 when u got to fly around.

i found it not as good as no. 2 but its kewl with the R3 thing and everything

This Story Mode was short you don't go through every battle
like the other DBZ games.
I quite liked the story mode and all but it was short doesn't
go through each battle from the Tv Series.

I seen that super craig no fights as Gohan during the Buu Saga.
And each Scenerio depending which it is is only like 4 battles
while DBZ:BT2 had more that that.

Some things on there are cool.

i liked some effects of it like after ur press R3 (PS2) it talks then both of then do like a wave blast or a fight and stuff

Yes, I feel that the Storyline was waay shortened. They blocked out the whole Gotenks thing in the Buu Saga, and the Cell Jr.'s. They probably thought too much of the storyline in number 2, and tried to shorten it drastically.

But, there's always some big failure in the Dragonball series, I don't know why I buy it anymore..

ive got it but its more boring them no. 2 coz they took that free roam of that makes it less fun

I like storymode. The cut scenes were crap but it did follow main DBZ storyline.

the only thing i liked about the storyline is how u can switch characters but dont have to.

e.g. i killed cooler with master roshie then goku said
"What??, he really did it??"

This is one of the very few dbz games I do not have, however I play it all the time at my friends house, and didnt like the story mode at all, it just seemed really lame if you ask me.

Yea, my friend told me this game was no good for the same reasons SC said, I think the creator rushed on this one, maybe Burst Limit will be better

yea i hate the cut scenes
i use ss gohan to defeat bojack without transforming
they should have made u need to go through the whole thing to succeed.

yes this is why i did not buy this game

story line was too short and the R3 function wasnt cool, i mean i was vsing bojack with gohan(on my friends)not even ss2 gohan and i was getting smashed in my last bar of health and it says r3 and im looking for r3 and he kills me
