I was looking at various walkthroughs and need clarification on how to specifically acquire harnesses in certain battles. So if I am not mistaken the battle has to be unlocked in Musou mode, playing certain characters. For instance to get Red hare saddle, I play Lu Bu's forces against Shu to unlock the battle of Xia Pia. So once this battle is unlocked in Musou mode, I play it in free mode and get the saddle for the desired character I am playing. Is this correct?

yeah but you need to put it on hard mode to get saddles and you can evan do this on tales missons as well

that is not true yes you can get saddles on free mode but it doesnt have to be on hard mode the only thing hard mode is neccesary for is lvl 10 weapons

i dont know how to get saddles and i want to know how to get more than just the red ghair one for god sake, thats the only one people talk aboput, i know its the best but how do i get all the other ones!??

Elephant saddle- on the level nanman campain using the nanman forces ride an elephant into shus base and go where the valuble item appears (ull get a message) to get your friend of their saddle use huang gais bomb attack to blow them of

on the campain against Cao Cao with lu bus forces complete the following:
Circle around behind Yue Jin's secret ambush party. To do this
you must head right and down. You'll see an ambush party of Xu Huang. Kill him, and one of your generals will inform you about other ambush parties. A flashing white dot will appear south of the castle on the left side of the map. Head down to Cao Cao's caslte and head left and up, so you are to the rear entrance of the castle. Yue Jin's ambush party will run away, after
a few minutes Xiahou Dun will appear in the empty section to the top left area of the map. Kill him and the item report should appear.

i didnt kill him, after the ambush i just went into cao caos castle and found the box right behind him

To get It you must do the battle of Xia Pi- Lu Bu's forces.
go to the small island on the southeast map don't ride it!!. You must get the cutscene with guan yu riding it [by luring him their]then kill him and break the box on the red hare island.

Red Hair- Speedy horse Lu Bu/ Guan Yu's horse
Shadow-Can't get knocked of any horse
Elephant- I don't know
