Guan Yu Vs Zhang Fei(Based on Historical facts,Not game)

Historically,When Guan Yu was captured by Cao Cao, Guan Yu stated that Zhang Fei was about twice as strong as him.What are your views on this?I believe that when Guan Yu returned to Liu Bei,Zhang fei had a few fights with Guan yu,But was an Even fight.Zhang Fei also helf off alot of people on the bridge(I can't remember the Battle name) nearly all by himself and was successful,However Guan Yu Killed many in fan castle,But lost.I personally believe Zhang fei was strongest in a competition of like arm wrestling and weight lifting,But Guan Yu would be stronger in the sence that he fights well,And lifts a very heavy weapon.Also he was smart(i think) and was a very good leader.

I would also like to bring up that the 3 "Brothers" were really brothers,I mean In the game it says they are brothers,However historically It says that they were close friends.They often slept in the same bed(sounds wrong...) and were close friends.

Yes, there seems to be some sort of issue with modding 'hubbed' forums.

Apparantely the Wei army was cautious because Zhuge Liang was with the Shu army at the time and didnt want to fall to his traps so the sight of a single man (even if it was Zhang fei) standing against an army looks like a good lure for a trap so they held their position, giving liu bei time to escape. so in a way Zhang fei didnt prove his strength in that battle.

I personally think Guan yu Was stronger because of his ability as a leader, To attack Fan castle without permission was gutsy.

the battle on the bridge was chang ban. and yes zhang fei was stronger but guan yu was a more skilled fighter.and so that would have made it a close fight. and they were close friends but they took a oath that back then if you took it you were brothers so thats why there always referred to as brothers. the oath was in liu bei's backyard peach garden. if theres friends on here add me.
