I feel really embarassed asking this question because I have beaten this game plenty of times and done practically everything you can do, but...has anyone ever gotten the name at the Chapel of Skorm by sacrifising enough people. I never could do it.

It's extremely hard, you have to sacrifice people at midnight, in the game! Or 6 o'clock in the morning. The easiest trick is get a bodyguard, head to temple o' skorm and wait until th midnight hour strikes. Be prepared when the ticker on your watch-like thing goes straight up, when your money goes down because of the bodyguard, sacrifice him without hesitation, you pay him by the hour I think. Skorm can be picky and want more at midnight, but luckily for me he only wanted one. Hope this helps!

it helps to be completely good when you do your sacrifices. skorm likes to convert the good to evil and will give you the name easier.

I finally got the name! It took a long time. And it was on my good file, I was just doing it for the bow. But it gave me the name, the bow, and five years reduced ALL AT ONCE!!!! I am serious. NOt lying at all. I swear.

No, it is not possible to get the name twice. Unless, you mean in another save file. Your game could have glitched, randomly.
