Huge DLC announcements by Bethesda

I watched some gameplay of Fallout 1. But I'm not playing it. Even if it's not too hard to find, I simply don't have very much money right now.

Kool. One year, not too bad considering there was a ten year gap between Fallout 2 and Fallout 3.

Pfft, Fallout 1 ,2, and Tactics can be found anywhere for free.

I believe you misunderstood me. The Todd Howard statement was about Point Lookout, not Vegas.

Well, the Fallout wiki page claims that New Vegas is due out by June 2010.

Unfortunately 30 isn't good enough. I have two skills in the 40s, my melee is 55, and my explosives is 99.

Point Lookout Token is out at Gamestop..

Todd Howard has confirmed, if it wasn't already obvious from the trailer, that Point Lookout will be focused more around horror than the other DLCs. So, do a dance mister Dunwhich Building, and have a party Vault 106, because Horror is here!

I won't be getting it until August, when Broken Steel and Point Lookout go to disk.

I heard that also there was no nuclear bombing at Point Lookout Park.

I dislike the Dunwhich building... that was just plain creepy.. best part is if you turn your screen brightness to max in Dunwhich. It's like seeing outside at dusk. And is Bethesda going to do anything else with the Commonwealth? I mean there's alot to be worked with there after Proffesor Li left for the Commonwealth. And I'll be getting the Point Lookout DLC most likely on the 23rd. Which is my last day of school so I can sit down and no life it =).

They probably will do something with the Commonwealth. I have two Gamestops less then 5 minutes away from me. Unfortunately my Gold expires tomorrow.

Point Lookout isn't scary at all. There is a time where it seems your on a drug trip, which is fun. I was over at my friend's house and we finished it and it was fun, but I didn't find any of the weapons any good.

I think point lookout was more meant for the experience rather than the weapons. I wasn't too impressed with the gun lineup I saw online either.

The quests were kinda annoying I found. I'm glad they added more stuff and a new location, but now that I look back on it, it wasn't all that great. Then again, we didn't really explore and everything so I'll be able to tell for sure when I get it. In August. D:

It's awesome. I explored every location, got all achievements and perks, did all quests, and got the sweet guns(you have to do quests to get the good ones), and all in 6-8 hours. Oh and Loony the Double Barrel destroys Combat up close. The quests were interesting too, not like Those! which I loathe doing every time I start a new Fallout game. One perk was really good and the others were ok. Only two complaints from me. I would've at least like to have seen better armor, or a bigger variety. SPOILER!! When Desmond gave me the key to a reward vault I was disappointed to find it was only a Microwave Emitter which is (pretty good), and some ammo. That was the biggest disappointment EVER. I was expecting much more there.

No good armor? Wow, it seems like that's the only one so far to not give good armor. Anchorage gave us the Winterized T-51b and the Chinese Stealth Suit, the Pitt gave us all the new Raider Armor, unique Leather and Metal Armor, and the Tribal Power Armor, while Broken Steel gave us the Enclave Hellfire armor.

I'd rather have the Terrible shotgun. A little less damage, but it doesn't need a reload after every shot or two rounds per shot.

I hope Mothership Zeta brings some new armor into the game. I know that the weapons will be great already(there is a rifle called The Disintegrator). I also know that there will be captives aboard that can help you through the DLC, so my suspicions are confirmed. I think it will be one of the best DLCs.

Of the two I currently have, The Pitt is the best. That may change when I get Broken Steel and Point Lookout in August. It's a shame that I won't see Mothership Zeta, though.

Yeah Broken Steel is better in my opinion.

Operation Anchorage is just become less and less appealing to me. It was kinda fun the first time through, but now it's just a chore. A chore that I HAVE to complete to get the Chinese Stealth Suit :/ Not to mention that I busted my butt to find those dumb intels, having to use a walkthrough just to discover that it gives NO achievement, only a really lame perk.

The Pitt was interesting, had a cool consept, a cool location, cool armor and weapons, and the Steel Yard is a really creepy, yet friggin' awesome place. Plus, it FINALLY gave you an automatic rifle with a scope and a silencer.

I bet you people already know this, but I just found out today when looking on the Gamestop website. It said that the disc of Broken Steel and Point Lookout will be shipping on August 18th. Unfortunately for me, I start school 4 days before that.
