My favorite place in the wasteland is the Hilltop Cliffs. I used to make up names for it and even used the Urealms name for a mountain.

Blasting Megaton is a bad idea unless you've done all the quests and such from there but still i would say its a bad idea. My favorite place would have to be Anything in the Mall area because all the buildings there are entertaining.

Not really. One of my best characters blew up Megaton, and he leveled faster than the other five.

I blew up Megaton with my second character so I can't go there. I think my favorite place is Rivet City, because it's cool to live on the boat, or The Citadel, because it's cool to live with the other Brotherhood Of Steel people.

No, that market is awesome. You can pick the lock and steal everything in there without getting attacked :D
I like the citadel, oh, and my FAV place of all is a blown out building across the street from the Arlington Library. There's one Raider in there with a Hunting Rifle that you can kill from the ground floor, but the fun part is getting up there, as the whole place is just full of boobie traps. It's a lot of fun though, and the rewards are good. I wish that there were more buildings like it in the game...

That place is fun to go through. I like the place in the D.C. ruins where there is that psycho guy talking on a microphone or something and the place is rigged with bombs.
