O.K. I'm looking for the "final attack" and the "added attack" materia's. I have no idea where to find them. I've heard that you win final attack in the chocobo races but I've done those races a million times and not once have I even seen the final attack materia listed as a prize. It might be because I'm on disc 2 but i'm at a loss. I could easily make it to disc 3 if that's what i'm required to do (thank you Knights of the Round) but i've been doing all the side quests before i continue with the story. As for the added attack materia... I have no clue

srry I can't help u on that one :( I went strait thought the game wit out doing most of the side quests, try looking at walkthoughs you can usualy find anything thats worth finding there.

yo from memory u get final attk from the battle arena in the gold saucer you need to buy it with your BP and when u get final attk link it with pheonix (masterd both) and u r pretty much invincible

Hmmm... i no u get final attk in the battle arena....i --->THINK<---
that u get it from the special battles in the battle arena i carnt rember....

wat u do is buy omnislash and w-summon then tlk to the lady at the front desk and she will ask if u want to a special battle win to get finnal attack.

Final Attack: fight in the Battle Arena until you buy Omnislash and W-Summon. Once you have done so talk to one of the staff and she will ask you if you want to participate in special battles. These battles are tougher but the prize is worth it.
Added Effect (not Added Attack): it's in the Cave of the Gi. Keep breaking the odd shaped rocks in the holes in the wall until a door opens above you. Go to the second area and go left and down. You'll go through the door and you can pick up the Added Effect materia. Beware of the gold coloured liquid though. Walk, don't run on it because if you run on it you will slide out of control into a wall of spikes.

nintendo_dude i think he or she is looking for added cut. It is in the snow after you snowboard. Go to the left . It is around there. Its hard to find because it is the same colour as the snow. But look for a unusual lump in the snow and thats added cut.

Yes, but there is the added effect to and that is long gone if you have beaten Gi
