Talking about FFXII again is making me want to play it again. Either with only one character or class specific. I mean the fact that any of them could be magic users and wield any weapon was fine but reverting back to the old ways may spice it up a teeny bit!

I prefer when everyone can have access to magic and summons. I know that it was key to the story of FFX that only Yuna could use summons but I would have like if anyone could use them. The customization options for your characters in FFXII was pretty good except for gambits of course.

I'd actually prefer if they had individual characteristics, weapons or spells.

In FFXII every character could do the same, so in the end, the characters you used were mainly based in small attributes or "visual" preferences *cough, BB and Balthier ;P, cough*. It would be best if each character had it's own skills, so we would actually have to think and invest time to make a better party.

That's true but only if you choose to give them same abilities by buyinng the licenses for them.

Correct, but with this system there is not real point in making, for example, a character specialized in magic, one in range attacks, and one in swords and spears when you can simply give them all a Zodiac Spear.

I just think it will make it alittle more challenging. The easiest thing to do in XII is to level up and kick erm butt!
So to only have the magic users with the magic augments on the license board and only very few of the weapons might just give the game alittle more edge! If youre going to play it more than once its nice to find different ways to beat it!

And leave my Balthier alone Vas..lol

Simply doing less training before going to each area or sticking with weaker equipment would make the game more difficult.

Oh yeah does it. Theres that one challenge where you stick to your original weapons isnt there? Low level, original weapon etc. (I know its used for FVII alot with no materia included in the challenge) but Im sure its adapted for XII too.

Yeah, the famous 122333 challenge, where your characters MUST be at those levels.

Never tried it, and I'm not thinking about it anytime soon. Kind of amazing though, as some bosses are incredibly difficult at high levels, and people can actually kill them with such weak characters...

They still use the best equipment in the 122333 challenge though and bubble to increase HP.

Then this one must be more specialised to FFVII. I was thinking along the lines of
Low Level, No Materia, Initial Equipment, No Accessories

I thought there would be a one like low level, initial equipment no accessories too.

Nah the 122333 challenge isnt my cup of tea either!

There is no way you'd get through FFXII with the early equipment and low levels. Equipment raises the majority of your stats more than leveling up.

and i havnt done much hunts either.. i lent my game to a friend and when i get it back im gonna hunt and get some rare game.
anyone have any tips for me to kill an entite?? i cant get 'em... =[ i can kill an elemental in about 45sec. but not an entite at all... help?Doh
