I'm thinking of playing as Vinelle myself because for some reason she stops cursing and taking away Raines sheilds afther you get his heath down to half "Typical AI" all she does is just heal me...

Heal you? then her role is a medic, did you forget to switch up the paradigms?

Yeah but she also has the ability to take the sheilds down on Raine while as the Medic...

Since when? As far as I know, that's only as a saboteur. Unless you mean Dispel? I think she learns that. Although yeah, controlling her would be easier, especially if the one you control now is only used for attacking.

Yeah she can learn Dispel, Disshell, poison and so on, but she never uses those moves when his heath gets to half.

Well, perhaps he gains immunity after that point.

yup He does something when his wings come out. Not sure what it is though

Well, go into his Libra. IF you press R1 (or whatever it is on 360) and he now has status immunities, then thats why. It's annoying when games do that, but oh well.

If you guys are talking about raines use Snow (Sentinal), Lightning (Commando) and Vannile (Medic)

When he shields or heals go into the paradigm >>> (forgot name) (Snow (Ravanger), Lightning (Commando), Vanille (Ravanger)) and work on the chaining then when he goes back to offensive shift then go back to Solidarity (Above)... it will take a while but if you stagger him before lightning goes insane and beats him to a pulp then switch to (Snow (Commando), Lightning (Commando), Vanille (Ravanger) then you can juggle the guy till he's dead.

*quick tutorial on juggling* Wait till Lightning (or another Commando (Snow, Lighning or Fang only) to knock the enemy into the air and finish thier combo. Then unleash your combo and by the time you come down the other commando will be back up and using thier combo (This technique is best done with a Commando, Commando, Ravanger class.

Eh, I just kept attacking and he died. It was a simple enough ordeal. Thanks to massive playing, I got Lightning one version of Omega Weapon (+1 ATB and more leveling up for any weapon that's currently maxed). I had no idea it would take so long to get 2,000,000 gil.

I haven't died a single time yet, lawl.

I absolutely adore this game so far. The graphics are the best I've ever seen on any game, the cutscenes are phenomenal, as usual, and the story is actually quite easy to follow, unlike what happened with XII. The Datalog feature was a great addition to keep in touch with the details of the story (though somewhat repetitive at times) and the gameplay itself has never been so easy. The menus and such are similar to XII, so players like myself have a slight advantage.

And the characters are all beautiful, hehe. Vanille. <3

I played XII so nice try Vasco XD. It will get harder trust me. I thought it was going to be a piece cake when I first started.

Well, once you reach chapters 10+ (or around there at least), it gets harder.

Man anyone got advice on how to beat Sazh's summon.

Hey anyone got any advice for farming... just got to chapter 11 and is majorly short on credits and my characters are seriously under leveled :(

I love how when I ask for advice and help I end up beating it. I'm going to just stop.

Well have you tried upgrading your weapons ? Also fight more battles will help in the crystal codes boosting.
