1. In-store credit...I really know nothing about it, can someone explain this to me? Like how it works vs. cash, how is it better to get it, and if it works at any gamestop?

2. Trade-ins. I have a 60gb launch PS3 (Was $599 at launch), how much will I get for it at Gamestop? I also have a Nintendo Gamecube and a Nintendo 64, same question.

Thanks to ps2man617 for awesome sig and avy(name put on avy by MV).

1: If you have an account, you can add credit to your account.

For Example my account has 35$ on it I can use towards any purchase.

2: Really depends, Gamestop will try and rip you off for everything. I would say call first before you trade anything in and check to see how much you can trade them in for. If it's too low, then try and sell it to a friend or family member for a price that benefits you.

Ok, but if I have a game that is worth say $30 for example. I can trade that for $30 cash, or $30 credit? Or is it worth more if I get credit than if I get cash?

You get more if you trade it in for credit than you do cash.

Store Credit is worth roughly 20percent more than if you were to take cash for the sale. Most stores will take a 20 percent cash fee off your games trade-in value. It's like insurance policy - that way if you go spend your money else where, they're still getting some of it. Stupid yes, but in terms of business, it's just how things are done.

Plus, it aids in making sure people keep their business within the store. People don't like the sounds of losing their own xD
