mines the lacia stratos ( old school driver )prefers the *** hanging out...! tis the best car for practising your drifting...! for those interested city corse cote dAzur (monaco) is by far the best track for tyre smoke in your replays... tis a good way to unwind from all the competative racing, just go and have fun and watch the replay.

Personally it dont matter which car is my favorite since I been steady getting dissapointed in Gran Turismo starting in 3 and now in 4. I think GT2 was still the best overall of the bunch sure better graphics and such in 3 and 4 but the one major thing I loved in GT2 was the HP restriction races for many reasons one was it allowed me to enjoy the game a lot more. Lets face it where is the challenge in allowing people to enter any HP car in any race the car itself can get into. I had far moe fun playing GT2 with many cars set at differant HP than just buying one lame car with all the HP in the world. I would like to know when the game only became enjoyable with a 1000hp car to win a 250hp race? If GT5 doesnt have HP restrictions I will prolly just buy an Xbox360 and play need for speed since it seems GT is just becoming another NFS type game totaly lame IMO

I kinda feel you. GT (Original) was the classic. Then came GT2 w/all the cars you wanted. I however disagree w/the 'graphics better' deal. If you remember correctly, GT 1 & 2 were on the PS One. PSII graphics are WAY BETTER than that old, what, 16 bit? The HP restrictions were definately missed in GT3 & now GT4. They did add some quite unique mods to 4, but I have to agree with you about the 1 car 1000 HP game. Outside of the LM Editions & Formula race cars, I don't REALLY find a true need to trick-out a Honda Civic Si w/ 400 Horses. Or better, a Camaro w/800 HP. How fast do you really NEED to go? GT4...in my opinion has gotten MUCH more challenging (some people don't like) and has lost a touch of it's original greatness......however I do enjoy collecting the 650+ (real-life) cars they have. Let's face it, there's no other game like it. YET!

yeah but whats the point of collecting the "real Life" race cars when you can add not real life HP t them I wish the "real life" race cars couldnt be modded like in GT2 my only exception to this rule would be the black cars you buy in the used lots lets face what challenge is the game in a supercar race you cant win in stock form so just add Turbo and whala 1000+hp and race worth 1 Aspec point cmon any child can win a 1Aspec point race with no skill Gt4 has gotten to easy GT2 kept me playing all the time Gt4 just bores me after like an hour and with Bspec mode you can just sim your way up I would make it Bspec wins dont count to % completed or unavailible until you completed the race yourself first granted the real 24 hou races would suck and probally never get done.

i just bought the game 3 days ago, so right now the best car i have is the Fairlady Z concept LM race car. i love the handling and the acceleration. even though its smaller, it blows away all the grand touring nsx's and skylines.
