Well, I've been playing GH2 for sometime. I've played it with the guitar, but to me it was impossible to do. So I went to the controller. I did great with it. I went to Easy to Hard. Just need a 2 more songs and I'm finished with the Hard career.
Does anyone play with the controller?

I think everyone uses the guitar, but for some people it's easier to use the controller. It all comes down to what people are better with I guess.

Honestly, I don't, because that defeats the whole purpous of it being GUITAR Hero. They don't call it 360 controller hero, I think using the controller for GH is as pointless as using the controller for Dance Dance Revolution. But, if it works better, I suppose you can do it...

Well, I finally beat Hard Career. I'll be taking a break from GH2.

I'd love to see someone try Expert with the controler... that'd be insane! I can barley do it with the guitar! (I haven't beaten Expert all the way yet...)

Yeah that would be pretty insane, and you'd be popular for doing it haha. But I haven't beat expert yet either, I'm stuck on the 6th set.

Yeh, but in fast progressions you have to hit the button rapidly, but with the guitar you hold down the fret and just strum up and down, much easier.

i use the controller alot just case i find it ALOT easier, i can play expert with controller and some hars some with guitar hero. buit ya the contrroller does take away from the whole point of the game. Also Red octane tried to decrease the amount of controller players by simply adding millions of notes together like in, the light that blinds in expert, and killing in the name ( i think) in expert, because people cant press the button at the speed od the notes, i tried lmfao, i think i busted a 50$ controller and a finger ^.^

I fine the guitar is easier, but I just recently started to use the controller just to see how its like, and i'm not to bad, just have a hard time when the notes come right afther the other.
