Well nobody knows for sure, its just I have a so called real rough draft #4 of what the story is and it says that its a halo under the crust, but strangely enough at the end it left a cliff hanger which Bungie said it is the final trilogy. The beggining was good though, but in the end *SPOIL* *SPOIL* *SPOIL* dies.

Obviously Cortana is on graveminds side becuase theres plenty of logical reason why. In the books they said that an Ai only lasts for 7 years and then they go hay wire, which is kind of stupid in my opinion, cortana was 3 years old i believe when she met the cheif. Since she went onto halo with cheif she soaked up ALOT of information, like she said it was a never ending stream of intel, all of that went to her experation date which made her go up by an extra 4 years, which makes her go aywall. Also the cheif told cortana if halo is activated she'll do the same thing as they did to the Autumn to the Inamberclad. She should have got the information that the installation was active and she stalled for so long, people think that was the start of her betrayel waiting for so long. Also theres some secrets in the Announcement trailer that you need find for yourself that may clarify some questions.

i would like the elites,hunters and grunts to join with the humans and fight against the covenant. (just so i could go a grunt) and cortana turns evil then a grunt eats her lol

A new spartan (Named Kelly, Master Cheif is called John) may appear... Well I hope so.
In the last Halo book Kelly is the only surviving Spartan other than Master Cheif but her location is unknown..

Just to let u know, the gravemind is the BAD GUY. He's the overlord brain thingamabob for all the flood. He only saved the Arbiter and Master Chief's lives so that they could deactivate the halo, and stop the destruction of the FLOOD! I personally agree with the idea that Cortana will betray everyone and join the side of the flood.

I think shes up to something, she knows Earth is gonna get destroyed, so...In the clip you see MC activating halo, I think, and I think its right, that he knows there are no more human coloneys, and his life was to protec human life, and he has failed, so he has to destroy the flood, even if that means killing himself, so the next set of humans...Can live in peace.

Halo 3 is going to be about the covenant on earth. They find a relic "the last safe place" and activate it. If you saw the teaser than you saw that huge thing lighting up.
