Ummm it's a must have but I suggest beating one before 2 or it's gonna make no sense at all. But its not that expensive at max I think number ones $15 (U.S.).

I look on ebay. They sell XBox 360, XBox 360 Elite, XBox 360 Pro Gamer, XBox 360 Premium, and XBox 360 Core.

all the same lvls as in single player it rocks 10/10 on the co-op

Great! Because I remember several years ago we played Halo 1 on Multiplayer. We liked it better together, than against each other. But I just don't remember how fun it was anymore.
