Bungie wants to set yo' head on FIRE

Yes, Bungie is finally giving away a set of the highly coveted Flaming Armor! (Not a helmet, a body piece that makes it look like your head is on fire)

However, the method of getting it will be... challenging.

How will you get this armor? Well, place first in Sarkathalon 4 of course! Sarkathalon is an annual Halo competition put together by Mr. Sark of G4. In this competition you will have to complete an obstical course created by Mr. Sark in the fastest time possible. If you get the fastest time, you'll walk away with the only set of flaming armor outside of Bungie!

Here are the Rules:

- The timer starts the SECOND your game begins, and ends when you cross the boundry at the end point.
- Across the obstical course, grenades are scattared. Your objective is to cross the finish line with a full set of 8 grenades (2 Frag, 2 Plasma, 2 Spike, and 2 Flame).
- You may not use an edited version of this map.
- You must send your whole gameplay film of the level to Mr. Sark for it to be considered.
- You must have Halo 3: ODST to qualify for this competition, as it takes place on Longshore, an ODST exclusive.
- Download the map and gametype at http://www.bungie.net/stats...=Mr Sark.

(HINT: Go through the level in forge first so you can find where all the grenades are and plot the best course)

Did you not read the post? You need to have Halo 3 ODST to do the challenge, so it belongs in ODST.

yes but the thing itself is on halo 3

But it's a map that you can only get on ODST, meaning people who only have Halo 3 can't participate in this. Therefore, it really should be in the ODST forum.

Moving back to Halo 3:ODST.

it's on halo 3 though, you need the 'Halo 3' mythic disk, not the 'Halo 3:ODST' disk

But you need to have puchased ODST to have the Mythic disc.

I'm not even attempting, but I'm glad they're not just giving it away like Recon.

Is this the fourth annual Sarkathlon competition?

It's a Halo 3 disc, regardless of how you buy it.

Mythic Maps 2 is downloadable nows anyway. And the competition is long over.
