No, you just don't receive any exp if you lose, you lose exp by quiting the game before it's finished, 1 exp loss per quit game.

There are two reasons why I'm closing this:
1) The objective of the entire forum is to discuss; this sort of topic inherently discourages members from posting individual topics that carry real weight, such as advice on getting through levels. In essence, this is no better than a 'general chat' thread on General Chat.
2) The consensus is that there are too many pinned topics.
