heya - you get married 1 Spring, Chapter 2 (the beginning of the second year) there is not a marriage scene but you wake up on that day and your married and have a child also.

go into the sprites house (eat the mushrooms outside it to get in) then talk to the little pot thingy about 100 times, just keep pressing x (it repeats each saying about 10times or so) eventually it will say somet like 'ok you win, what do you wish?' and you can choose to have a boy or a girl.
i chose a girl and i still got a boy, i dont know why that happened. Someone on this site has been able to get a girl though so if you want a girl try wishing for one and then don't speak to the pot again.

Thanks for answering my question and should I wish for a boy or girl which is better,and does your wife help you and do your kids and wife help you water your crops and things like that? one last question do people move out of the town and do other people move in. Sorry one LAST question how do you make milk into butter and cheese. I'm in winter of the first season.

To make butter or cheese you must buy a food processing room, which is a really good thing to get. it costs a good bit but pays off if you have a cow that isn't a star. also your kid will start to help water your crops or feed your animals only if you build up his likes and skills in that category. don't worry about that though because if you don't know how, just continue to work around the farm, and he'll gain an interest. also you do get new neighbors after year one, but i am on year 5 and there is nobody new...

hey - harvest_master - 'it costs a good bit but pays off if you have a cow that isn't a star' i was going to get a star bull to make my cow pregnant but why do you say that it won't pay off if you have a cow thats not star? whats wrong with that one, i though that one would be better because its the dearest. shall i get a different one?

Well sorry to confuse you, i mean that turning star milk A or S into butter or cheese cuts the price down, but if you have star cows turn the B milk into either one to up the price, because the highest butter or cheese can sell for is 300 dollars... But getting a star bull or cow is the smarter choice. Again sorry for the confusion

Star cows give the best, but any kind of cow is good. i probably know it but the rule has temporarely escaped me :D
