You can still buy a cow and chicken.
Go to bluebell through the mountain pass (at the top of the village, once you exit your farm go up then to the left.
The first store on the left in bluebell will sell a chick and a baby cow. Once they grow up you can get milk and eggs from them.
Also a hint for later
If you move to bluebell you can still use the land in konahana and vice versa.

Milk: I get milk from Creamy my full grown cow.
Eggs: I get them from Ruby and Yoko my chickens.
How you can get them.
Milk: From Cows you get from Laura's Livestock.
Eggs: From Chickens you get from Laura's Livestock.
She has Chicks and Calfs at the beginning so you have to raise them with love.
