How was your first Sephiroth battle?

My first Sephiroth battle was terrible.
When I went to the colliseum and clicked the ?????, I thought it was going to be a Fire Titan. When sephiroth came in, I said, "He doesn't look that tough." Then the sword comes out. "Uh-oh." I never played Final Fantasy though. When the battle starts, I slash him a few times. "What? The bar didn't go down!" I slash more. "Huh?" Sephiroth Slashes me and takes half of my health bar. I try to heal and he slashes again. "I'm still alive? I'm still alive!" I try to slash and he teleports and slashes. "No!" Now I lost. I tried again and I got the bar to the next color. Sephiroth kept using that thing where you have the Halo over your head. I timed perfectly for healing. Then when I was almost at the next bar, Sephiroth teleported and tried to slash, but I dodged and slashed. "Ha! You can't sneak up on me. What!(And points at television in an attempt to taunt Sephiroth.Then crosses arms.)" But I forgot to pause and when I was out of Taunt mode, Game over.

Here's how mine went
"W001 im lv80 colluseum ????? match ok!" "Sepiroth from FF holy shmakamaboom!" Slash bang boom stop slash boom poof dead. "I WIN!"
And thats how it went really except the holy.... part.

I battled Sephiroth at level 69 with the LionHeart Keblade and Glide (no potions). I won pretty easily too because of the Defense Ups I had.

I didn't know what I was doing so that is why I still havent beat him yet. I have Kh2 and he is tougher and I can't beat him. This isn't over yet!

He is strong in KH2, but I liked him in KH1 because you could fight him more. In our first incounter, I wasn't worried, even when he whipped out that sword. I saw his heatlh and I'm like, "Ok, no problem Sora and I can do this." 5 seconds later I'm deader than hell.

Yeah, that happened to my friend, and would have happened to me if I didn't know how strong he was before my first try.

I finally beat him! Now I have to beat him in Kh2.

ok im just wanding around worlds so i go to the collusieum. i see a ????? on the menu. and i go like " oh cool i wonder what this is"!
so im ther level 63 and im like whoa! i see the video and im like oh pa shathen i see his sword and im like ahhhhhhhhhhhhh!
so i get killed in two hits and i started training and then... i bought kh2! and beat that =)

In Kingdom Hearts 1, isn't Sephiroth an optional boss? Isn't he optional in both games?

He's optional in both, but in KH2, after you beat him, you can get a keyblade.

yea the fernier my battle was so great!

The first step is alwase the hardest, or in this case first battle.
After you beat Seph for the first time all the other battles with him seem lame and easy

First time I fought him I was at level 49 or something. I didn't think he would be that bad because he was really easy in my friends final fantasy game. so I ran at him and started getting my but kicked. 41 seconds into the fight I got killed.

You lasted 41 seconds? I merely standed 10 seconds at the most for both my tries. Level 51.

I knew it was Sephiroth, but when i went in i died in about 15 seconds. I still haven't beaten him, but i can dodge him very easily. Sadly thats all i can do. dodge. :P

lol. I can dodge probably two hits, then I would get hit. This sucks.

Do you think that Sephiroth is hardest boss battle in the history of games?

Lets see after fighting him in both FF7 and KH1-2 I would say... YES

Probably. Because I haven't faced a boss that's harder.

[b][/b] The first time I fought him I was level sixty one and got my self smacked down in three shots because when I would get close enough to attack him he put up like this flame wall that would eliminate the rest of my health.

i first fought him when i was about lvl 45-50 i went to olympus and i saw the ?????? i was cool i wonder what this is so i went in and noticed i was alone i was like dam but i didnt care then he came out of the sky and im o crap he looks hard but beatable then he pulled his giant sword out i was like craaaaaaap i attacked a few times and got a couple og hits in and his health wouldnt go down i was so annoyed then i did like 1min of dodging to try and work out a pattern when i tohught i got his pattern i went in and attacked two slashes later i was dead i still havent beaten him and i ma lvl 62 now but i have beaten all the oter cups.
