My favorite feature was the split screens expanding the size of monsters and allowing them to be shown as flying easily.

Agreed. That was a good feature, but it made some of the boss' larger than they were, which made you think it was harder to kill. :P

The cards' effects when I finally realized I could use them. Saved my butt in many a boss battle.
