how do you get up to the stone bridge. dixie kong ,when you first speak to her, she says you must get to the bridge to go to donkey kong and you cant climb the vine

You have to first find one peice of a stone tablet thing then you talk to dixie again after you find a piece of the stone tablet then donkey kong will come down then he joins your team and when he joins your team you can climb the vine then after he joins you have to find the all the tablet pieces then you go to the altar thing talk to diddy you put them in then diidy joins and then the bridge goes up
