Well, is it a used game? Are you pressing the save button in the start menu? Are you waiting till it completes before shutting the game?

um if you are using the save button try using the communication thing.

yeah if the save button isnt working, whenever you go to hook up with another game it makes you save so you can just use that to save, if it doesnt work i suggest you take it to a gamestop and see if they can figure out whats wrong and once i took in a game they couldnt fix and they let me trade it for a used one they had
