Men in black alian crisis on the nintendo Wii

I am the only person playing this game that cant get past the stupid plant boss. I get up to the same part and just cant seem to get any further. I have tried around 40 times and i just cant get past it even on the easiest setting. I have watched a you tube video where some guy gets past it on his second attempt by shooting it when it grabs him by the legs with its tentacles. I can not seem to get the same result. I am extremely frustrated by this and am wondering if anyone else who is playing this on the Wii is also stuck on that part. thanks

I also found it hard to do. my advice is to keep strafing and shooting, plus try using the starter gun (the one that looks like a crossbow) because it goes fast and has unlimited ammo so you can keep going and going.
