Light
Strong against:
Dark
Poison
Bug
Weak against:
Water
Steel
Fire

How about a new status affliction? BLIND can quarter an opponent's accuracy for a random amount of turns, until the victim uses either a Full Heal or a evasion nullification move like Odor Sleuth.

If it's energy, it can't be matter.
I like the good against match-ups, but add Water, Ghost, and maybe Normal. I think bug should only do 1/2 damage, and light does normal to bug. Weak against, Steel, Psychic, and Grass.
I don't like the blind thing, maybe an attack that lowers accuracy, but not like that.
