What to start with?

This thread is for people to tell people what they would start with and why. I'll start.

I chose to start with Duel Swords because of their lightning fast attacks and the ability to Demonize. The downside to these weapons is that they can't block, but any skilled hunter can easily overcome this obstacle.

I like using long swords for Strong attacks and the agility even though the attacks arnt that strong

I love using the gunlances, bows and long swords. They are new to MHF 2 and I've challenged myself to complete the game with just these three weapons types.

I still love the GS, and the 3 charge just gave me another reason to love'em, I also like SnS and LS, but I'm trying to get good with bows and GLs

For wyverns I can't beat with DS I use bows. Here is my bow armor:

Khezu Cap
Khezu Body
Battle Guards
Hide Belt
Khezu Leggings

i prefer the SnS or Ls i am also starting to use GL because of its wyvrn breath abillity its best against khezu any way here are all my weps and armours

helm:Bone helm ( i have been trying to get a better helm although this 1 looks good and i have given it better defence)
