This only works with SP not VC
you can also do it with the 100SP jump shots
quick tip: delete the MyCareer game save from MyCareer to disable the auto save, it should make purchasing attributes and animations faster then when your finished save it

Works like a charm on PS3. 
Don't exit the menu into home screen though until you're done shopping, as this will set your credits to 0.

Yea it works. I had like over 800 vc and had to buy something(s) to get down to around 500 vc which I got down to 508 vc and sure enough bought ray allens jumpshot and it worked where I was able to buy anything (that it allowed me to)
