i think you mistaken , the fastest 1/4 mile cars in the world are Top Fuel drag cars that run mid to high 4 second 1/4 miles. thats with 8000hp and tyres wider then 15 inches.

Well I had a Stage 4 Engine, Stage 4 NOS package (the actual system) and Stage 4 Suspension.

Can I ask for it at a later time? My original file somehow got corrupted despite me doing all the right things to prevent it happening and so I have to start all over.

Yeah, but with wider tyres believe it or not can slow you down due to the increased amount of friction. Yes it's good for handling and grip, but in a straight line, the thinner the better because it creates more pressure on the road and so can reach a higher top speed. Unfortunately this reduces handling drastically.

Well lets just put it this way. If it takes a 3000+ bhp to get into the high 3 seconds to low 4 seconds to do a quarter mile then a car that is several times heavier than it and with a lot less power somehow getting 5 seconds isn't right.

I got 4.98 seconds for real, with my GTO car.

Yeah, I mean that's why I showed photographic evidence of my Mazda and Zonda F.
Just so that we don't get the usual "Prove it" thing.
Anyways, I've almost got my Mazda back to what it was in my original/first career save before corruption so that's good.

In that case then your time is invalid and that gives us actually a right in a sense to say your time is made up until you get a picture of it.

Trancepilot: because you're new I will explain. To make your time valid we need you to take a picture of the time. This is because with our knowledge of real dragsters being well over 3000bhp and with the weight of something like 200 odd kg. They manage about 3 to 4 seconds in a quarter mile time so it's hard to see cars in this game that car several times heavier and with a lot less power being able to manage times close to real dragsters' times.
