ahem, there is a much better speed car then the skyline, the camaro SS

The R34 has more power, much greater torque and therefore better acceleration than the SS, and it has sticky grip too.

Torque actually only defines the acceleration a little bit....
Other factors you have to consider always is the weight of the car and it's "grippiness".
Oh and the 911 Turbo has a considerable amount more grip than the R34...
Yes in a straight line the R34 will be more stable being the longer wheelbased car, but everything else....It will lost out a bit.

Skyline r34 is super good for grip if you unlocked level 4 engine and maxed out the other parts.

Actually the only thing the veyron does poorly in is Drag. Speed it averages 400kph the whole track, grip it's surprisingly agile, although I haven't tried it for drift yet.
