HELP! - Level 6 - Tower 1 - 3rd Coin

I need some serious help here. No matter how hard I try to wall jump up to get to the pipe and the 3rd coin, I can't do it. I did it once with a mini mario mushroom in my cache when I was in that room, but once I was up the pipe and in the crazy spike room, I promptly died trying to get the coin (he jumps high, but slow). I've tried to go through the level as mini mario, but it's too hard to move fast enough to get out of the way of the spike walls. I'm at my wits end here, I've tried jumping off the Bones to wall jump, and crushing the Bones, then running and jumping - the only thing that I can get to happen is that I will wall jump back and forth for awhile untill my hands get tired, but I never actually get up onto the higher platform. HELP!!!!

Try using Luigi.He can be obtained by holding L And r when entering the story

He jumps higher.

I used a mini mario I had in reserve. follow dry bones to the left then turn & run(rush) to the opposite wall. Continue walljumping back & forth between the two walls (this may take a while) until you get to the new platform. Even though it does't look like you're making any headway, you are, just very little each time. Once you get to the new platform, enter the pipe. Jump quickly to the center & crouch so that the pillars don't hit you. Jump to the coin, then back to the center platform crouch. Jump back to the pipe & you're safe.
WHEN YOU ENTER THE PIPE BE ON YOUR TOES, CAUSE YOU SURE DON'T WANT TO GO THROUGH ALL THIS AGAIN

Mini Mario is to slow at jumping.Luigi can do all of this with a fire flower

I have nintendo ds. I've tried to do as you said & I can't get Luigi. I'm playing single (not vs) so is it still suppose to work? If so maybe you can tell me what I'm doing wrong.

Well one make your own topic but you hold l and r then enter into the story you want to play as luigi on.
