Mine was Chikorita. On my gold version it was totadile, and my little brother chose Cyndaquil on his silver version.

Well, the cheat didn't work, so Cyndaquil. Works on GS, though.

my first and only pokemon was Totodile i only used only in,in my journeys when i winned from Ash i started catching Pokemon!

Cyndaquil will always be my starter in johto, unless i feel like Godzilla and want to murder everyone with crazy floods and ice storms then i go with Totodile, but for now ill continue to incinerate everyone with typhlosion

My starter Pokemon was a Totodile and then I trade two of my Pokemon for Cyndaquil and Chikorita

I always loved the Fire type Pokemon to start my Pokemon games, I went with Cyndaquil.
