yeah, i think the attack gets a boost of power if you are underground or in the air, but not 100% sure bout that...

that the problem with using dig versus a rock pokemon, because its super effective, but they might have earth quake, so its risky...

so do what i like to do rock vrses rock like a Rhydon versus Onix RHydon has better attack than Onix. Onix has better defence but Rhy don would win my lv.54 Rhydon woped my friends lv.69 Onix it was hiareous. And I finally bet the 16th gym with pokemon in the low 50's bule is pretty easy on crystal.

Can I help please? I suggest getting the Lugia. And an electric too. Final Pokemon: Suicune, Rhydon, Lugia, electric Pokemon like Electabuzz or Raikou, Arcanine, and Butterfree. Actually, you should take out Butterfree for a pure psychic like Alakazam or Mewtwo.

lol, you only need to train to about level 60 with 6 pokemon to be able to defeat red, just get type advantage, and bring revives, although you will struggle versus snorlax, his best pokemon...use rhydon versus it...

ah, yes, i thought youd say that, machoke is super-effective versus snorlax, whereas rhydon is only neutral versus snorlax

but
when snorlax attacks machoke it is neutral, but when snorlax attacks rhydon its gonna be not-very-effective

so therefore they are both good versus snorlax...

You know what, I beat his Snorlax with like a level 10 Gastly. Cool huh? Went up a lotta levels after that.
