Dragonite lv61 (convinced he's invincible lol, love him)
charizard lv 55 (most awesome starter lol)
arcanine lv 55 (another tank basically)
alakazam lv 55 (has the highest special attack of any non legendary)
gengar lv 55 (incredibly useful and almost as strong as alakazam)
lapras lv 55 (massive hp and all around good stats)
entire game was easy. these are my favorite pokemon and some of the strongest from first gen, granted i don't have all types covered, i just used varied move sets.

I used Charizard Rhydon Vileplume (only against blastoise) Snorlax Gyrados and mr mime (my favorite)
