Banning?!

I wonder if nintendo will ban people from Wi-Fi if they find any sign of hacking. Like hacked pokemon, items, moves, or hacked batles(e.g. easy wins)

Well that is a tuff one some people do have hacked pokemon while other's don't.

But I think they shouldn't block people who got hacked pokemon because those Nintendo Events are very hard to get to for many people.

Now as far as those super uber pokemon they should ban people who have like 999 powet etc.

I mean its an honesty system...**** battle with the pokemon you trusted and raised correctly.

I don't think nintendo will ban people with hacked pokemon, because many people own code breakers that in some cases, are very helpful, to obtain a certain pokemon, like mew and other event only pokemon.

They should just block them until the hacked pokemon is removed from their trading party or something...

True.When I get pearl I'm only using my ar to get pokemon like mew but thats it, I hate using 999 stat codes they bug me.

They shouldn't ban pepole for doing anything. They could warn that they used cheats, but not ban them.

I agree with MV, because people do need to know if that person has something on him thats cheated, but as far as kicking them off wi-fi for having a hacked pokemon, it seems a little harsh, because in that case, I wouldn't be able to use my shiny mew or the future Arceus that I will obtain by my action replay, and just to let yall know, I'm not the type of guy who will use "999" stat codes, I just use my Action Replay to obtain pokemon, and get infinit master balls/etc.

Maybe if you use cheat pokemon, they'll give you some kind of "Tag" thing that will basically brand you as a person who uses hacked pokemon and cheats. However, this would not stop them from battleing, just let other players know that their opponent is using UBER UBER POKEMON.

Hm...I don't think they should do that because how will that change the battle? The only things that I think should be warned are if the person used the maxed stats cheat, which I think makes the game boring, and that they use those weird codes that make any Pokemon learn any attack. Those are the people I think should be warned, not by anything else.

Hopefully. That would be a smart thing to do, IF they actually do it.

I have and AR and I EXTREMLY dislike the people who use Max Stats, Move Mods and (it has nothing to do with AR) name themself or their Pokemon something bad, immature, or just plain nasty.

Well it's possible... I discovered i link to the debug menu of metroid prime hunters that made my character slightly better in every way. I was blocked from wifi. (but then why do AR users get on?)

T think they have to much on there hads for banning,i mean don't you think there population will fall?

i don't think Nintendo would waste their time going through millions of player profiles just to see who hacked the game.....

Well, millions of players own these little things called, "Code Breakers" and thats supposaly hacking the game if you use them... then they get infinit health and stats, and when they get on wi-fi... they let all hell break loose... by hiting you with a move (any move) and it knocks you out and every single pokemon that you have on your team.

This is the reason why most people hate wi-fi, but I'm the type of guy who will always love wi-fi, but also, even sometimes if you win a battle, or start wining, the wi-fi person you're going against might be a huge baby and turn off his game, so that you can't grab that win from him.

Hopefully they will make it so when you shut it off you lose unlike Mario Kart DS which STILL has hackers playing and I win sometimes. One of them JUMPED over me... What if the two aggreed on a cheated battle? Then they would both be banned. So I think Nintendo is not really gonna do anything.

Oh well, we will see very soon. Hopefully people don't cheat and battle the right way.

I believe millions of people are going to cheat no matter what the rules are, so thats why I have made a topic called, "Report a Wi-Fi Trainer" (if he/she was cheating, so we can know who cheats at pokemon to win battles, so hopefully we wont battle that person) but Im afraid it wont help much, but at least yall will have info about who cheats, so basicaly you have been warned before you start a match with that cheater, lol
