They're a rare Pok�mon that can be of any species, you find them just like you would find any other Pok�mon in the wild.

Shiny pokemon are extremely hard to find, there is something like a 1 in 8000 and something chance of finding one.

Yup they are hard to find,i only found one shiny pokemon and that was a pidgey.

Poke'dar doesn't increase the chances of a shiny encounter.
It just shows you which patches of grass you need to walk into to encounter a shiny pokemon.
IIRC, they're red patches that rustle for a split second.

pray that you find one... or use the pokeradar, but its extremely hard, because you need about 35 times in a row before you can find one

The easiest way to obtain a shiny is via the action replay. I mean loads of people say its hacking, but I prefer to get a shiny that I want rather than to have to wait around hoping the shiny pokemon will show up.

Fwank your completely wrong.Use the pokerader around the grass,it increases the chance of seeing a shiny if you keep chaining,how else do you think i get my shinies

I makes it easier with every encounter, but the chances are still insignificant.
Not to mention it's always been like this, it's just that now you're given a counter to help make things easier.

i found like 30 species of shiny pokemon!!! lucario,rayquza,lugia,volbeat,riolou,etc without using pokeradar!!!!!!!

Well I can tell you a shiny pokemon's location it is a shiny Grayrados,
first use fly and go to Resort area (in the big pool) and there you will only find Magikarps.After catching some(50-100)you will find a shiny one.Evolve it to make it a shiny Grayrados.
