Was it planned?

Did nintendo plan on doing this all along? Did they mean to just leave out a few cool featurs in order to put them in a third game for more sales?

Will this game be that epic? Or will it just be what we are all used to, a game where you play the exact same storyline, gyme battles, elite four, etc etc.

Sales, obviously. They aren't stupid. They aren't adding anything new with the exception of a little bit to make it seem like a new game, and all the games were in trios.

To Giratina fans this will be epic. To others, it'll be an Emerald re-do IMO.

Yeah thats basicly what I think about it in a nut shell.

Nintendo did it for sales, and while they might not of necessarily ment to "leave out features" they certently planned on making a third game the whole time.

And im a Giratina fan, and I dont find this epic.

Then your not a true Giratina fan. I'm overjoyed about this. The Origin form, actual use in the plot. Its epic.

I am happy, and will get the game.

But I wouldnt really call the game epic.

I would call it epic.

It will be excally the same thing as D/P expect a few new things which they always seem to do in the thrid game in the trios

I love Giratina! This game was planned, like always. Come on people, we knew it was gonna happen. I mean, I even guessed tha name an' even Girainta's Origin form before this even came up. I have forseen it.

Sales, obviously, an' ta try stuff they wished they'd done in tha first two games. A few small tweaks an' some large tweaks is plenty enough ta get good sales an' drive die-hards (like me) back. This is tha flow of thangs an' it won't leave us, it never will. There is not a doubt in my mind that this was planned, they probably even had tha name, mascot, storyline, etc. picked out before D/P even came out.

I agree with this for the most part.

It was planned, but they didnt plan the whole game out when making pearl/diamond.

Pokemon breeders, like me, will be happy if it has move tutors again. And there's also that new Battle Frontier like place.

There is no way of ignoring that it was planned. I just started likeing Giratina alot more, the ploline behind the beast would be awesome. (Did anyone ever notice how it has things that add to 666?)

Move toutors would be nice. As would a new battle place too.

I think it would be nice to be able to have Giratina in both forms (Like, have a way to trade it over from Pearl and have it be the same as it was in pearl, but have the one in Platnium always remain in it's origin form.

Ofcourse this game was planned from the beggining, they always are.
Basically the same, but a few features the forgot to add or purposely left them out to make this game.

Yes I agree with you, although the fact that it was planned from the beggining annoys the crap out of me -_-

^^But it was planned from tha beginnin'. Each Generation always follows a pattern, first two, then a third. I mean, although they might not have had tha actual hard details worked out yet, they did expect ta make it from tha start. Really, after a decade of Pokemon games that follow tha pattern, ain't it expected!?

Yeah thats what I think to, while they didnt have the whole game ironed out, it was planned from the beggining.

It was obvious that they would use Giratina. None of the other legendaries got so much of a positive response as Giratina did. Plus he has high stats, and good moves. The perfect candidate.

No, however I would rather nintendo not just mean to not add a couple extra fearures, then add them in the third game, and call it a new game. What I'm trying to say is, I wish nintendo would at least attempt to make their third game different from the last two -_-

Yeah because there just lazy. >.> They shouldn't just add a couple new features, okay we havn't heard all the new features available, but they should still try to make it epic an' awesome.
