Well now that Platinum has officially been announced, I wanna know people's reactions to it. Were you suprised? Did ya expect it? Did ye want it? Just tell how ye fell about it.
Me, I was expectin' it even before tha rumors started goin' around about it. I even had tha name guessed an' tha mascot. I also thought Giratina's Origin Form would be in it. So it didn't really suprise me, but I am excited about it. It's epic, like all new main series Pokemon games.

I knew that Giratina would be the mascot, but I don't really like this new "multiple forms" type thing in the game. I thought it was better when it was restricted to only a couple of Pokemon; Deoxys, Wormadam, Castform, etc.

I was indifferent. To be honest, I didn't even know they had already made the new one till I saw the forum here, though I knew they would make one eventually.

yes expected it and all it means is great another Pokemon game for people to drool over that is basically the same as the version before it and it makes no sense to keep making a game that is the same thing OVER AND OVER AND OVER.. I wish Pokemon would just die off the face of the planet already

Ok agree with the first part, and I would agree with the second part if I didnt have wi-fi, so I disagree. Its not the same game because they add in new pokes every game, which makes online game have more depth, and makes it fun. Without online play I wouldnt even really like playing pokemon. However I agree, they should at least attempt to make things different, however then again why should they? Looking at it from their prespective, they make loads of sales on these games so why make them different, why not just do what works.

they are not gonna add new pokemon to Platinum cause it is the third version to Diamond and Pearl

You know what needs to die? The fools that keep on making Pokemon cards. They are a thing of the past. They are killing the card series even more.

Well I agree with this post, lol @ kevin's last post.
Anyways back on topic my reaction to this game is its just another spin off that will have a few more features then the last game. And once again you will do the same thing as you did in the old poke game, same storyline etc. But the sad thing is, I will still end up buying and playing the game, despite all of this.
Conclusion, its probably just a over hyped game that nintendo made for sales, and knew theyt were gonna make from the beggining when they made pearl and diamond. All they did was leave a few features out of pearl on purpose to add in this third one. Which honestly was a smart thing to do on nintendo's part.
Although I do advise anyone who doesnt have diamond or pearl to get the game.
