I think it goes like this: Zapdos Moltres Articuno. Moltres would beat articuno with fire, zapdos would beat them both with electricity. I think he's also the toughest to catch.

You can catch Mew by using the Gambler Trick but you don't want to use a cheat do you? Well then, use the Gambler Trick on one version and trade it to your Red. You wouldn't have cheated on you Red, only the other version.
