i used the cheats from here to get pokemon but after I entered them, I couldn't find them anywhere. I checked my own pokemon, my storage on the computer, even my pack. where were they supposed to go ?

Could you give us a link to the cheat you used? And the emulator might be your problem. We can't really help you if that's the case. Emulator/ROM talk is a banned subject here. :S

oh nevermind, you put the code in and then go to any place where wild pokemon are and the only pokemon you'll encounter will be the code you put it. so i was seeing wild alakazams lol.
NOTE: they are at the level that corresponds to the area in which you found them. ie, they are at low levels around new bark, and about lv20 around blackthorn city
