I think totodile is the best starter. I dont really like fire pokemon though, so I really dont like the pokemon cyndaquil.

totodile is the best stater pokemon, because Its strong and I LOVE WATER POKEMON!

u shud have made a topic for this, it isnt relevant. anyway, sudowoodo is found near the ancient ruins, and ahead of goldenrod city.
beat the goldenrod gym to get the water bottle from flower shop, and use it on sudowoodo to move it, catch it if u want.

There is no universal strong starter for the game.
The one starter is good against some gym leaders, as for the others. The developers did that so you would get many types.
I personally like Cyndaquil and Totodile. Not a big fan of Chikorita...or any grass-types actually

That may be true, but totodile can take typhlosion down pretty easy. I mean because water beats fire.[color=blue][/color]
