>_> Well, luck is a key factor at times. "Hax" is what we usually refer to when someone pulls off an unholy critical hit or ParaHax, FreezeHax, etc.

for attack EVs its much easier to train with shuppets in the graveyard. I do it a lot.

Also for speed smeargles in artistan cave (pardon my spelling) are much easier, and more exp for faster training.

ED, i did basic algebra and found something wrong up in here. this is your original post.

"HP Power = (1 + 2 + 4 + 8 + 16 + 32) * 40 / 63 + 30
HP Power = (63) * 40 / 63 + 30
HP Power = 40 + 30
HP Power = 70

If you're wondering how I went from step 2 to step 3 like that, it's because I saw that both sides of the division sign had 63 on them, so I realized that it would make it easier for me to do if I just removed the two values altogether since I would end up with the same answer anyway."

Lets recount that, shall we?

HP Power = (1 + 2 + 4 + 8 + 16 + 32) * 40 / 63 + 30
HP Power = (63) * 40 / 63 + 30

you skipped, and deleted the 63's. did you notice that while one equation was multiplication, the other was addition, and those just dont mix.

so your equation would be like this :

63*40 / 93 = 2520 / 93 = 27.096774......

so here, you answer comes out to ~27.

but, that just cant be right. so instead of making this mistake, you should have written it more clearly.

Original Equation :

HP Power = (63) * 40 / 63 + 30

New Equation :

HP Power = [((63*40) / 63)] + 30

sorta confusing, but written, uhh, more mathematically =p

good guide overall.

I found an enormously easier way to determine your pokemon's hidden power: ask the guy in the Celadon City prize house, the place you redeem your game coins.

ftw you have to go to a serebii link to see the most basic information, yet this entire wall of text barely explains what people need to know in order to understand what they would want.

Like... why do people need to know the Hidden Power equations? Its not like its easy to tweak specific stats to obtain specific Hidden Powers... and even if they would want to, you don't explain how.

This wall of text is also extremely colloquial (dumbed down); too many pointless sentences.

I don't mean to be highly critical but it would've been nice if this wasn't 4 pages of minimal info.
