Gambling anyone?

As long as it isn't as stupid as Voltorb Flip. Atleast hoping they add more than an electronic table in the centre of a so called 'game corner'.

It's alright, but Nintendo didn't incorporate an actual 'Game Corner' as in slots and stuff. Voltorb Flip is the ONLY gambling game in HG/SS, and it gets boring. It's also much harder to earn coins.

True, but it also takes forever to get 10k coins for an HM or a Pokemon.

Though it is a good way to get an Eevee and a Porygon.

Most of the prizes can be found elsewhere in the game or can be traded in from other games. ^^

And I also believe that a game room, with games like slots and stuff, is sending out the wrong message to the younger fanbase. I think the game room does not even have a reason to be in the games. I can understand it being in one serving as a Rocket hideout but they've overused it.

The Voltorb flip was too much of a bother and gets frustrating after your collected coins go up in smoke after the Voltorb blow up. I don't do the slots often in other games, but if they're there, and I can buy Coins, I'll be satisfied.

Couldn't you just use an Action Replay? Or train a Pokemon til it knows one of those? I mean, there's stuff they could put in to get these moves instead of gambling to get them.

Cheats are for cheaters. And I'm no cheater. =/

Only HG/SS forces you to gamble for coins, actually. In every other game, you can simply buy the coins, and I haven't the foggiest clue as to why Nintendo would change that.
(Unless the Japanese version has you buying coins, too. I know they have the slots.)

Ohh Okay, gambling is the only thing I've never done in any of the games. I find it pointless.

They should put craps in the game corner.

God I hate this new Voltorb flip; takes to long to get Ice Beam etc.

An entire Casino would be nice though.

I'd spend more time playing Texas Hold'em then playing the actual game itself.

They also should put better prizes in the game corner. I'm sick of the same old crap.

If they added prizes worth playing for, then by all means, add it to the game. I don't use any of the stuff they offer.

Some of the items you get can be useful, though. The Wide Lens, for example, boosts accuracy by 10 percent. Metrenome boosts power of moves when used consecutively.

I don't use items to help my Pokemon, so the Game Corner is still useless to me. I still say put something new in place of it.

Well then that defeats the purpose...

But yea, something new would be nice.

Maybe they bring back the contest and poffin making. That would be fun.

Yea, I can't believe they took that out...they basically replaced the Super Contest with the Pokethalon.

Poffin making was fun. I wish they had that with Apricorns, but they didn't except for making Poffin juice...which was no fun.

Yea, I loved the contests, and I think they should put it back in these games, preferably in place of the Game Corner
