Hey, Protean Greninja is a great shiny, but think about how the original shinies of other generations would look in this game.

Well, I have no clue.
To be quite honest, I've never seen a legitimate shiny pokemon in any of my games. I've never seen any of the sixth generation Pokemon shinies, legitimate or hacked.

You can always go on Serebii to look at their Shiny Forms. XD
I've only found two Shiny Pokemon... Ever. One was a Shiny Gyarados (Diamond) and the other was a Shiny Gible (Masuda Method - Platinum). I've had to trade for all the rest.

I got a Japanese or German (I don't remember which) Charmander today via Wonder Trade and now I'm using the Masuda method to try and get a shiny Charmander. I'm up to about 25 or so Charmanders, so I still have a while to go though but it'll be worth it for my first shiny.

Have the one Pokemon in your Party have the Ability Flame Body. It will cut the number of steps you need to take in order to hatch the eggs in half.

Greninja was my starter. I like its hidden ability, protean. Ice beam turns greninja into an ice type. Cool!
